It's all in the Q!

BIQA Coffee has launched it's website. We are so excited to debut what the Lord is doing with this amazing company. Doug has been doing Business Development for BIQA coffee roasters and it truly is an adventure only worked out by the Lord. As I mentioned in an earlier post, BIQA isn't your ordinary coffee roasting company.

The "Q" in BIQA is for "Q-grading". Susan Jaime, the Master roaster behind the product is one of 85 Q-rated coffee graders in the country. Susan classifies and grades the quality of coffee beans worldwide. Q-Graders are certified by the Coffee Quality Institute and ensure fair market value for coffee on the open market, based solely on the written and scientific evaluation of each crop.

The coffee that Susan grades is then fairly-traded and fairly-priced. The growers receive what they should receive at fair market for their product ... something that doesn't always happen with the larger companies using middle men. The beans that BIQA imports into San Antonio, Texas are then carefully roasted to allow the flavor of the bean to develop. YUM ... a perfect Q-graded, defect-free, organic, specialty coffee!

Susan's gift and passions are literally changing the lives of growers and countries economies! We are so excited to be a hand in this company gone ministry and are even more excited at what we believe the Lord has in store within the many layers of it.

To those wondering ...

I had a post from an "Anonymous" asking if I had a diagnosis. NOPE .. still walking the faith journey. Thank you for checking in on me. This friend assumed probably so since my next post was on coffee. I wish that were the case. BUT, in the meantime, I choose to not let the enemy thwart God's work, steal our joy or place me in a place of fear. I await another Dr's appointment .. a pulminologist this time. The symptoms morph and change and my Doctor wants to look into Auto Immune Disorders. Until then, we're trying to eat more "Real Foods" .. organic milk, grass-fed beef etc. I am also reading up on holistic approaches. Those are the things I can control ... and the rest is all in my Lord's hands. Thank you for checking in on me ... and your continued prayer support for clarity/direction and ultimately healing are coveted and appreciated!

Merry Christmas ... now, go back and read up on BIQA and make your orders. Susan is in Chiapas this week. MANY exciting doors are opening. She is meeting with the Governor of Chiapas today (that is in Mexico). She is keeping us updated through e-mails each night on what has transpired in country. She is being given the honor of being appointed the one to go in and teach local growers how to grow superior coffee beans. I won't do it justice at what the Lord is doing ... as she writes she is so excited about how he is using BIQA to change lives. We are too. Come join us and be part of the journey!
